Fetish: Why do I bother?
I am a guy who has rather specific fetishes that I like but I have found meeting guys for fetish increasing difficult especially in the last few years.
I have a thing for dominate Asian chubby or Asian body builder guys. but it is certainly not exclusive to this. but dominate guys are some of the most difficult guys to meet.
they tend to want every single one of there fetishes matched with yours before they will even consider a meeting. for example if they have 10 different fetishes they like and just one doesn't match with mine its a total deal breaker on there end it is as if the other 9 matched fetishes are also no go? so confusing?
There is such a massive shortage of guys into fetish in Australia that my options have just about run out now. There is negative migration and negative population growth in Australia currently.
I have got to the point where the only way forward is to find suitable guys outside Australia and pay significant amounts of money to convince him to travel to Australia for a catch up. Given the current situation the cost of this is massive and extremely time consuming. It could cost me upwards of $40000 and upto 12 months of paperwork just to get them into Queensland Australia for a week long visit. but for them it would be at least a one month trip as any one I brought to Queensland would go through an incredibly strict 14 days Quranteen at a Queensland state run facility.
given the difficulties I face and continue to face should I bother trying to chase something that seems to be a costly dream? Would it be better for me to just accept that fetish play is something that isn't part of my life and just spend a far smaller amount of money on quality fetish porn?
Queensland might be covid free but its really sucks when it comes to fetish play! Its huge place of more than a million square miles and the population is spread thin too.
Guys please help me! I want to experience more fetish play but it seems an impossible dream!

I know what you mean about people that don't have your exact fetish. Years ago I met up with someone who thought trampling was "stupid" so that didn't work out. I wound up just paying for sessions with women (for me a foot is a foot). That was all many years ago and now I'm content at just browsing online to satisfy my fetish.
Don't know if any of this helps but I hope you find a solution.

I'm lucky I guess, in that I can do my artwork to help relieve the stress of it all, but I haven't had any fetish play in nearly 6 years.
All the guys I talk to want to fuck, like fucking is the only thing that gay guys do.

As for the fetish side, that's a tough one. Personally, I've felt it's always been a rollercoaster, there's a certain span where things go well and guys show interest, and there's other times where it seems like I'm the only one around who has a fetish at all. Just moved to another city so I'm hoping for more luck. Sometimes what I'll do is take a small break from apps and when I come back I'll use a new photo to see if it peaks anyone's interest, sometimes that's worked.

Perhaps it might be cheaper for you to travel out?
Personally I've no problem if all fetishes don't match. If I have 1 or 2 favs and some that are less then fav, I'm down.
I have sort of limited time, with work and weekends taken with g/f and family, so if I want to play, I cannot be too picky, its not that easy to find bottoms around here.
Tops for that matter on the chance I'll switch for some things.
